STEP 1 - Free Assessment
Feeling brave? Motivated? Interested? GREAT! Getting started at CrossFit Fire is very easy. Simply call us to schedule your free assessment. 815-207-8844. Do it.
Your assessment will start with some questions about your background and your goals. Then we'll tell you all about our philosophy and our gym. This is a great chance to see if we're a good fit for you, and if you're a good fit for us! You'll receive a tour of our facility and then we'll put you through our baseline CrossFit workout to see if it's something you like. Everything will be done at YOUR pace and at YOUR fitness level. Come dressed in clothing that allows you to move freely as well as a pair of gym shoes. You can expect the assessment to last approximately 45 minutes.
STEP 2 - Beginners Classes
Once you have decided that CrossFit Fire is right for you, the next step is to purchase a membership, and get enrolled in our beginners classes. These classes are designed to familiarize you with the equipment and movements that we use while also gradually exposing you to the intensity of our workouts. Beginners classes currently run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening at 7PM.
If our beginner's classes don't fit your schedule, please contact us to schedule private sessions.
Anyone with previous CrossFit experience who would like to test out of our beginners classes should contact us to schedule an appointment. Please note that this is an assessment of your current understanding of the movements used in CrossFit and not a coaching session.
STEP 3 - Group CrossFit Classes
Once you have completed a sufficient number of beginners classes (varies by individual), you will have access to all of our group CrossFit classes.
Unlike other gyms where the typical membership process involves dazzling you with equipment and getting you to sign an iron-clad contract, CrossFit Fire gives you the freedom to come and go as you please. There are no up front joiner fees or contracts. If at any time you need to change or cancel your membership, simply log into your account and do so. It's that easy. Any changes you make will be effective immediately.
The reason we do this is because we have zero interest in taking your money for something you aren't using, or in coaching members who feel they are being imprisoned by some sort of contract. Our gym is our sanctuary, and we only want people there who love it as much as we do! We strongly believe in the programs we are offering and know that your experiences at the Fort will be what keep you coming back for more.
Personal Training
If you are severely de-conditioned, have significant health or orthopedic issues, don’t care for group classes, or have very specific goals, you will need to contact us about out personal training sessions. These will be private, 1-on-1 sessions tailored specifically to you as an individual. Rates for private training vary depending on the coach you choose.
