Bill

I picked up Paleo Diet for The Athlete at the library (they didn't have a copy of the "non-athlete" version) I may need to find the original version as this one seems to be geared toward endurance athletes with rigorous hours/miles of training per week. The one thing I question. It lists fatty meats as foods to avoid. Such as T-bone, ground beef, bacon etc. Convince me these are ok in the paleo diet, especially the grass fed variety? Love me some good t-bone so I really want to be convinced :-)

Now that is an awesome ad! CHUG that soda! Ok now switch to that 2 liter of Mountain Dew and enjoy that Yellow #5 dye linked with behavior issues in kids, and have some of that MDew Gum thats also a key ingredient in shoe polish and paints. Don't forget that yummie Brominated Veg Oil which is banned in over 100 countries because Bromine can be lethal in its pure liquid form. Not even going to touch the Sodium Benzoate issue in soda.. Just savor that fizzy soda goodness and think about all the organs its effecting. I think there should be more ads like this the same way they did ads against the cigarette industry so more people are aware of what they are really putting in their bodies.
