I would never say that any WOD is "easy". They're all hard, right? There's that old saying: If CrossFit was easy it would be your Mom. So we've come to expect a certain level of difficulty every time we walk through the door at the Fort. As a matter of fact, Tricia feels sick to her stomach just driving by our building! There are just some workouts that are BEYOND hard....they are HERCULEAN. Get a dictionary...I swear it's a real word.
The workout yesterday was 5 rounds for time of:
400m run
21 Sumo Deadlift High Pull (40/30kg)
21 Thrusters (40/30kg)
I have seen a lot of things in my day, but yesterday was the very first time I saw Garth on his back after a workout. I watched in horror as the brave warrior fell to the floor, and I knew I was screwed. Garth and Pete were the only two who completed this WOD as prescribed yesterday. I made it through 3 rounds shortly before collapsing.
My ladies only class was HEY-uge last night. I think we had 10 ladies! Great to see you all!
Reminder: BBQ tomorrow night at Brittany's house - 6:30 PM. Bring a paleo dish to pass!

We all get that sinking feeling before the WOD starts! You're doing amazing by the way, and you're looking great!

I don't mind at all! I just laughed and told Mark. Thanks for the encouragement. I hope I can get over the sick feeling soon! I do love coming and the bad feeling goes away once I am there.
