Gulp, gulp, gulp....that's the sound of you drinking in those bonus points! This weeks challenge is to drink 1/2 oz. water for each pound of body weight every day this week.
So? How are we doing, WLCW participants? You've had 2 whole weeks to work some of the kinks out of the challenge. Hopefully you're adjusting to this amazing new lifestyle. Soon you'll be seeing the benefits of all your hard work!
Remember to use the WLCW website as a resource. There is a TON of good information on there!

At this point, staying in the WLC is becoming a challenge in itself.

ditto Gina. I'm discouraged and bummed most of the time. I thought the amazingness of diet/workout/stretch combo would make me feel like a superhero by now. Can we have a group pick-me-up?

First week weight loss was great, but it's come to a standstill. I have been very close to compliant on the diet, and in compliance on everything else. Although the weight isn't falling off, I feel so much better. Still amazed that I was able to stop eating chocolate and no longer get those cravings. Now, if I wasn't such a fussy eater, I could have a little more variety.

Hang in there girls! I too, am finding it challenging to log in and record my score. But for me, this challenged opened my eyes to ALL the hidden sugars and preservatives in food that we buy from restraurants and/or stores. I read labels differently now and look first to the ingredients list and second to the caloric/fat/carb makeup. Not sure if you read the WLC blog post this morning, but very interesting read re: unsaturated / saturated fats. I have given up gum altogether and find that I'm not missing it at all. (cinnamon sented toothpicks are a great substitute). I think we should have a group pow-wow to get the momentum back! Don't think you're alone in needing some motivation - I'm there with you!

Hey everyone,
I understand where y'all are coming from... You have to understand that it isn't a "weight loss" challenge. It is a challenge to better your health. I can garenty that all of you have improved in one or more than one area! it might not be a quickly as you wanted but YOU ARE IMPROVING!!! =D
This is where people start to fall off because they don't see the results as quickly as they thought they would. We are in such a "want it now society" we tend to get discouraged. Me included!!! If I had a dollar evertime Bill or Jennie has told me that I have to "have patience and cut yourself some slack or I will a*s punch you," I would be a rich man! =)
I am so proud of everyone in the challenge... You are so far a head of the majority people out there! Everytime I see your smiling faces at the gym or a comment from you on the whole life challenge web site it strengthens my resolve to do the best I can everyday. So I thank you.
Keep it up! You are improving everday! Cut yourself some slack, take a step back, and be proud of what you have accomplished so far!
Just think it could be worse... You could weigh 270 pounds and have to drink 135 ounces of water a day!
